Rob has won at Rockingham twice before in a rear wheel drive Audi but this time out it was not to be a fairy tale.
As a result of a penalty incurred at Knockhill, Rob was relegated to the back of the grid for Race 1 at Rockingham. This made progress difficult for the Race 2 and 3.
Involved in two accidents in the two races meant lots of damage, and not a lot to show for the team’s effort except a hefty invoice.
However, Handy Motorsport will get the car straightened out and be out repeating our top-5 race pace at the home of British motor sport, Silverstone.
