Finocchiaro Starts World Championship Attack

Trystan Finocchiaro plays with two decks of cards ahead of his first World Championship appearance. Finocchiaro will make his mark on the world stage in the FIM World Supersport 300 series that runs along with World Superbikes.

The championship has proved itself to be an extremely competitive, professional and worthy lightweight class for the World Superbike paddock. Racing a variety of low powered machines from the Yamaha R3 to the Honda CBR500 on some of the most renowned and historical circuits in the world. The competition has definitely caught the attention of the 18 year old.

Racing on the world stage will be a tremendous opportunity for Finocchiaro’s racing career and riding development, and will be extremely beneficial for Finocchiaro’s current and future sponsors. Sponsors of world wide calibre such as Transmec Group, Interlink Direct, and HyperDrive will benefit greatly from the world exposure gained from the masses amounts of media including live TV coverage on British Eurosport that the World Supersport 300 has to offer. Furthermore, sponsors related to the motorsport industry such as HyperDrive Lubricants will benefit greatly from being exposed in the World Superbike paddock. As well as benefitting support from other sponsors such as Absolute Coatings, VF Foods, MRCUK, and RMT Motorcycle Training.

Finocchiaro has been offered rides from two teams in the World Supersport 300 championship.

One of which being Bierreti Racing who offer the youngster a ride on a Yamaha R3. Finocchiaro and Bierreti will commence in a test in Italy this weekend for the youngster and the team to make a final decision and seel a deal.

The other is Scuderia Maranga Racing who would like to see Finocchiaro ride their Honda CBR500 in the World Championship. The Bologna based team have organised a test for Finocchiaro around the Lausitzring in Germany at the end of July.

Lausitzring will also be the scene of the next round of the World Supersport 300 championship which Finocchiaro intends to compete in with either Bierreti or Maranga. The youngster has these two tests for him and the teams to make their decisions.
